Bugabaloo 2006 was the most successful fundraiser in our agency's history. 260 people croweded into the Roberts Orpheum Theater to eat, drink, be merry and support Kids In the Middle®. Event chairs Jim Wotruba and Amy Post led a team of tireless volunteers. Auction chair, Meredith Hanis, secured over 175 auction items that translated into generous donations for the agency. Thanks to our guests, donors and sponsors we netted over $90,000. All the proceeds from Bugabaloo are used to provide counseling services for kids "in the middle". Friends and supporters of Kids In the Middle® celebrated the organization's success, honored long-time friend, Susan Bartlett, and kicked of its Annual Giving Campaign, at the Renaissance Grand Hotel in Downtown St. Louis on Saturday, March 5, 2005. Donna Savarese of KMOV-TV emceed the event, and with nearly three hundred attendees, everyone enjoyed the food and festivities. Our live auction was a resounding success and all proceeds went to support Kids In the Middle®. To kick off the presentation for Susan Bartlett, we welcomed the return of Kids In the Middle's founder Kim Lubin (formerly Kim Long). We thank Susan for all of the support she has shown our agency over the years and wish her the best of luck in her new adventures! Visit our Photo Gallery to see pictures from the event.
Would you like to host a Friendraiser or Fundraiser for Kids In the Middle? While Kids In the Middle® would like to be out in the community at every social and professional event there is, we don't have enough hours in the day to make it happen.
If you are involved with an organization that is looking for a charitable organzation to support, just click here to see our Third Party Event Policy and Application. We give our third party event organizers some flexibility in the planning, to the extent that the activities do not conflict with the mission of Kids In the Middle®.
